Reeve Accessibility Solutions was founded by Heather Reeve in 2026. An accessibility expert with lived experience of why accessibility is so important.

About Reeve Accessibility Solutions’ expertise

 

Heather is an experienced website auditor, who audits against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. She spent years working at the disability charity Scope as a digital accessibility specialist. She can explain accessibility issues in plain English, and with no jargon or complex language. Now, her aim is to make accessibility accessible to all. 

In her years working for Scope, Heather trained colleagues and helped many companies become more accessible. This included other charities and regulated energy networks. As well as global companies, a large content management system, an AI system, and more! 

She also delivered well-received impactful training to large groups of people in her previous role, on different accessibility topics. This has been in person and online. She is a confident public speaker, with guaranteed bad jokes! 

 

In 2024 she passed her Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) exam from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP). Heather is now working towards her Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification to evidence her expertise.

About Heather

Heather has extensive lived experience of disability. She has hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Simply put, she is always fatigued and in pain. She is reliant on accessibility to access the things she loves. She is also colour blind. Her partner is dyslexic. And her family are neurodivergent. This experience enhances the way she tests and talks about accessibility.

Heather is a short, disabled, metal head, who loves dogs (with sighthounds at the top of the favourite list), gigs, and talking to people.
